Dear Friends and Customers:

It snowed 15 inches here last night so I spent the morning shoveling out the steps to our store and the entries to the barn and our chicken coop. Now is the time of year I clean all the seeds I harvested in the fall, package them for sale, and take an inventory of what I'll need to purchase.. My friend Judy (of GrowingWithFood) has already laid out her gardens for this up coming year. I'll be laying mine out soon!

Judy and I met two weeks ago and scheduled the workshops we plan to give this year. So it looks like we'll  be busy again!!

Our hens  their slowest egg production time, so please be patient with them. They should increase laying by the middle of April.

Our five ewes have their full winter wool coats on. If you are interested in hand spun wool or roving for felting or spinning, please contact me (Allison). We have plenty in all shades from dark brown through bright white.

Dream of warm spring breezes and peace.
